it's been a while

i haven't posted here for a while. a few reasons.

first off, things are gearing up for moving into my house at the end of the month. second, work is busy. third, i've been travelling a lot.

which suits me just fine. the crap going on in canadian politics was getting me down to the point that i was riled up about it all the time.

i'm still paying attention, believe me, and if i feel exceptionally moved about one thing or the other, i'll blog about it. but for now, to get the good scoops, i'd recommend angry in the great white north, small dead animals, and proud to be canadian (it's a question.)

health care: bravo for a judge to have the cojones to say what the conservatives have been saying for years, and the liberals have been painting as "scary": that private delivery of publicly-funded health care is not detrimental to medicare. denying access to private delivery is.
