what if cbc employees were locked out and nobody cared--including the employees?
i've been amusing myself by reading about the cbc and how its leftist employees all believe that we care about the communist broadcasting corporation. about how we can't be canada without it. about how responsible journalism will have no voice in our country without them. (this last one particularly made me just about choke. one of the comments i read in opposition to this, with which i wholeheartedly agree, is that without their sports coverage, i would never watch cbc. and other networks can do good sports coverage. ergo, cbc (and certainly not cbc "news") is not needed in my life.)
then i go to some of their blogs. whine this. cbc = canada that. moonbat the other. blah blah blah.
some of the bloggers are keeping photo journals of their lockout. and you know what? they don't look put-upon. they don't look unhappy. and they certainly don't look underfed. take a look for yourselves, at this link. is it my imagination, or are the people in just about every picture stuffing their faces or just plain smiling?
doesn't look like a pissed off bunch to me.
